Hi! I’m Andrea. Sleep consultant, NICU nurse, mama of three, and the owner of Sleeping Beautiezzz. I believe every parent truly wants to enjoy their child to the fullest, no matter the sleep struggles. But as a mother of three boys, I know how difficult it can be to function while sleep-deprived!
My fascination with sleep began in the NICU, where I noticed that even premature babies can learn simple sleep habits and routines. But my passion for sleep began at home. My son oldest son needed to be nursed or rocked back to sleep every 1-2 hours throughout the night for MONTHS. The sleep deprivation was hard, but the toll it took on my emotions and mental well-being was even harder.
I reached the point where motherhood wasn’t enjoyable. I dreaded naps and bedtime, and sometimes didn’t even enjoy hanging out with my son because he was overtired and miserable and so was I.
When he was old enough, I decided to start sleep training. Within days, he got the sleep he needed to thrive, and I got the sleep I needed to enjoy motherhood again. A few months later I became a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant and the rest is sleepy, rest-filled history!
I am very passionate about sleep and the benefits of healthy sleep habits for the whole family. I am in this field to help people, all people, get the sleep they need and deserve. You need and deserve good sleep!

Hi! I’m Kyla Soloshy and I’m a Certified Child Sleep Consultant with The Family Sleep Institute. Let me tell you a little bit about what brought me here. Before I had children, my ideas of motherhood were filled with joy, laughter, and cuddles... how hard can it be?! Someone decided to prove me wrong. Very wrong!
My son was born in 2015 and he and I spent our days playing on the floor, going for walks, and visiting with his little baby friends. Cute, right?? But did you notice I didn’t say anything about sleep? It’s because it didn’t exist!
Suppertime always brought on these feelings of intense anxiety and impending doom for bedtime because I was always anticipating a terrible night. We did ALL the things: bath, jammies, one last feed, a little cuddle, and a goodnight kiss, followed by me tip-toeing out of his room as I crossed my fingers & toes he would magically go to sleep!
Fast forward approximately 8 minutes and the screaming would begin. I would spend hours upon hours trying everything I could think of to get him to just go to sleep and stay asleep! I had never fully understood what exhaustion was until now.
This lasted 6 long months and there was still no sign of sleep in sight. That’s when I made the decision to sleep train. I had NO CLUE what we were getting into so I spent days upon days researching different methods, what to do, what NOT to do, asking friends for opinions, and getting every piece of unwanted advice that I didn’t ask for. But within the first week of making changes, his sleep improved drastically! It was like he was a whole new baby. Our friends and family even began commenting on how well he slept ( a compliment I had never heard before!).
From that time on, something deep in my soul was telling me that I needed to help other moms who were struggling the same way I had been. It took 5 years and another baby to solidify that feeling. Again, I did my research to find the best education possible and spent over 250 hours working to achieve my certification as a Child Sleep Consultant with the Family Sleep Institute.
